Annie
Annie is a sweet fawn female. She comes to us from a local shelter where she had been picked up from the streets so we don't know her history. We estimate she is about 8 years old. She is in good health though she does require drops to one eye for "dry eye" - her vision is just fine. She has been spayed, microchipped and brought up to date on her vaccinations. She also had an umbilical hernia removed but that won't cause any further issues.

Annie is a very calm, serene girl. She is very friendly and loves to be loved on, but she is not an excitable gal. She prefers to sit back and relax. She is housebroken and gets on well with other animals. If you are looking for a true lap dog/couch potato, Annie might well be your girl!

Belle
Belle is an 8 year old fawn female. She is 8 years old. She is an owner surrender due to family changes. She has been spayed, microchipped and is current on vaccinations. She is heartworm negative. She is in very good shape but does suffer from "dry eye" that is so common in pugs and therefore needs daily drops to her eyes. She does have vision loss due to this condition.

Belle is a sweet girl that is used to living with children. She also gets on very well with other dogs.

Blu
Say hello to Blu. He is an 8 year old fawn male. This cutie came to us from a local shelter, so we do not know his history. However, we do know that nobody has been looking after him. He has bad hips and degenerative discs in his spine, though that does not slow him down. He has poor vision and a severe entropion eyelid (which can be corrected with surgery.) He has been neutered, microchipped and brought up to date on his vaccinations as well as having some dental work.

We have high hopes for Blu. He is quite a spirited puggie. The difference in him between when he was brought in from the shelter and now is remarkable - he is so lively and happy. We just know that with continued care he is going to blossom. Meanwhile, he has shown us that he has quite a playful side and loves to play with toys. He is also very good at snuggles and cuddles. This little guy is going to make someone a fantastic companion!

Buzz
Buzz is a very sweet fawn male. We estimate he is between 2 to 3 years old. He has been brought current on his vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. He seems healthy but definitely needs to gain some weight as he is pretty skinny right now.

Buzz is a very gentle boy who has obviously been someone's pet at some time. He knows some commands like "sit". As he was not neutered when we found him, he has a habit of marking his territory. However, he is now neutered and his foster Mom is working on the housebreaking. He's a smart boy so we think he'll figure it out. He gets along well with other dogs but is rather timid - definitely not an Alpha dog. He would do well as an only pet or with a calm companion. Though he plays with others, he much prefers to sit next to you on a sofa.

Champ
Meet Champ. Just look at that face! He is an adorable fawn male. He came to us with some skin issues that left his coat looking pretty sad. However, he has been getting medicated baths and his coat is now growing back in and as you can see he is looking quite handsome!

Champ came to us from a local animal shelter. He is current on his vaccinations and microchipped. He had tested moderately heartworm positive but has completed his treatment and is now clear. He is 2 years old, though everyone thinks he is a puppy because he is so active and playful. It's so nice to see that even though he has obviously had a pretty rough time of it, he still is a happy, friendly fellow who loves people.

China
China is a sweet fawn female. She is 10 years old. She was an owner surrender through no fault of her own. China has several medical issues and is on medical hold until we can get her sorted out. She is currently suffering from a severe ear infection, bladder infection and skin infection. She was coated with fleas and had scratched herself until her skin was raw and infected. She also has a yeast infection to her skin. In addition, her eyes were severely crusted due to not being kept moist for quite some time. She has undergone extensive eye washes and received drops and ointment to clean her eyes. Though her eyesight is severely limited, she does appear to see shapes and light. Her other infections are being treated with antibiotics and will clear in time.

Poor little China Doll is a sweetheart of a girl. She is settling in nicely with her foster siblings and really starting to come out of her shell. She would do best in a home with other dogs. She recently lost her littermate that had been her constant companion these past 10 years, so she has never been alone. She loves nothing more than being held. We know that once she is nursed back to health she is going to make a fantastic companion for some lucky person.

Cookie
Cookie is a fawn female pug mix that comes to us from a local shelter. We estimate she is between 2 to 3 years old. She is heartworm negative. She is current on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. She appears to be in very good health.

Cookie is a cuddler - she loves nothing more than snuggling up to a human for love and attention. She gets on very well with other dogs and would do well in a multi-dog household. She is currently in a foster home with a cat and doesn't seem too impressed by it so she would be a candidate for a home with a cat also. She absolutely LOVES children and does well playing with little ones.

Diego
Diego is an adorable fawn male. He is 4 years old and an owner surrender. Diego had been adopted from a local shelter several months ago, but his new home didn't work out so now he is with us. Poor little Diego has had a pretty rough time of it. He has just finished heartworm treatment and will have a re-check to make sure he is heartworm negative in a couple of months. Meanwhile, he also came to us with tapeworms and whipworms which have been treated and he is now clear. He had also come to us suffering from pneumonia. That has been treated and cleared but he still has a slight chronic cough. He has an injury to his jaw that is healing nicely and should be completely healed within the next couple of weeks.

Diego is a sweetheart of a boy who is a bit shy when first meeting people. Once he feels he can trust you he is quite a cuddler! He also does very well with other dogs and children. This little guy has been through a lot and is ready for his new life with a family who will love him and never let him go.

Dottie
Dottie comes to us from a local shelter. She is a senior fawn female, though we are not sure of her age. One things for sure though, Dottie has been through quite an ordeal in her life. She came to us with difficulty walking on both of her rear legs. X-rays revealed old fractures to both sides of her pelvis (probably from being struck by a car) that have never been treated as well as some nerve damage. She also has a BB gun pellet lodged in her back, though this does not appear to be currently causing her any problems. But with rest and TLC this girl has made an amazing recovery.

When Dottie first came to us we believed she was nearly blind. However, she has proved us wrong. Though she has some vision impairment, this girl can definitely see! She follows people and other pugs just fine and can play with them best of them.

It is amazing that despite all of the trauma that Dottie has been through, she is a loving girl. She enjoys human contact and cuddles and has quite a bit of puggie spirit in her.

Dudley
Dudley is a fawn male. He is 5 years old. He was an owner surrender through no fault of his own. He is heartworm negative. He is current on his vaccinations, microchipped and neutered.

Right now Dudley is not feeling too well. He has a lingering injury to his tail that has required a partial amputation. He is on medical hold until he has healed sufficiently.

Franklin
Franklin is an adorable black male. He came to us from a local shelter so we don't know his story. But we do know he hasn't been cared for in quite some time. We estimate he is around 10 years old. He has already been neutered. He is current on his vaccinations and heartworm negative. He does have one missing eye and needs drops in his remaining one, so his vision is somewhat impaired. He does have a couple of mast cell tumors that are simply being monitored for changes as our Vet does not feel they need to be removed.

Franklin has obviously been somebody's pet at one time. He LOVES being around humans and other dogs - he probably would not do well as an only pet. He is a very sweet little guy who just wants to have a human to love. His favorite thing is to curl up on a lap and snuggle. He is a true lap dog.

Gigi
Gigi is an adorable little fawn girl. She came to us from a local shelter so nothing is known about her past life. We estimate she is between 6 to 8 years old. She has been brought current on her vaccinations and microchipped. She will be spayed prior to placement. She appears to have an old injury to her left hip but that does not stop her from walking around just fine. She also seems to have a bit of a skin infection right now (non-contagious) but that will clear quickly with the medicated baths she is getting.

Gigi is a sweetheart of a girl who absolutely loves people. She is a petite little thing who loves to follow you around. She is currently in foster with other dogs and gets on well with the group.

Hillary
This is Hillary. She is a sweet black female who is 13 years old. She is an owner surrender along with her sister Asia due to family changes. She has already been spayed and is current on her vaccinations. She is heartworm negative and is in incredibly good health given her age. She does have a little bit of hearing and vision loss but nothing unusual for a senior lady.

Hillary has lived in a house all her life so she is definitely housebroken and even knows house to use a doggie door. She is used to living with another dog and is currently in foster with several, so she would do just fine in a multi-pug home. She is a sweet girl who is just looking for the perfect "retirement" home to live out her golden years.

Holly_2
Holly is a fawn female. She is 6 years old and an owner surrender. She is heartworm negative. She has been spayed and is current on her vaccinations. She appears to be in good health except for "dry eye" which will require daily eyedrops.

Holly is housetrained and would much rather be inside in air conditioning than running around outside (smart girl!) She gets along very well with other dogs and seems to prefer playing with others to playing with toys. But her favorite thing is to receive human attention and affection. In fact, her foster Mom reports that "if you just look at her, she falls over, with her legs stretched out, waiting for her belly rub!!!"

Izzy
Izzy is a sweet fawn female. She is 2 years old. She comes to us as an owner surrender. Izzy has some severe medical issues and is currently on a medical hold until more can be known. Izzy has been seen by a neurologist who has ruled out a head injury, though due to her symptoms that was our first belief. She has difficulty walking and it appears her vision and hearing may also be affected. We have been advised that her symptoms are suggestive of hydrocephalus (water on the brain). This is highly unusual in an adult dog and we are proceeding with caution regarding her care and treatment.

We will update our information here as soon as more is known.

Jasper
This is Jasper - an adorable fawn puppy. He is just 12 months old and still quite the puppy. He is an owner surrender through no fault of his own. He has been brought current on his vaccinations and microchipped. He will be neutered prior to placement. He appears to be a very healthy little guy.

Jasper is your typical pup - he is full of energy and ready for anything. He loves to play and gets on very well with other dogs. He will need a home that is ready for an energetic guy and can provide him with structure and training.

Jessie
Jessie is an sweet fawn male. He came to us from a local shelter so not much is known about his past. We estimate he is between 7 to 9 years old. He has been brought current on his vaccinations and microchipped. He has already been neutered. He appears to be in good health.

Jessie is used to being a devoted pet as he is housebroken and understands house rules. He is a very happy guy who gets along with everyone and loves attention.

Maggie
Maggie is a sweet fawn female. She is about 6 years old. She is an owner surrender through no fault of her own. She has been spayed, microchipped and is current on her vaccinations. She is in excellent health and is heartworm negative.

Maggie is a very loving girl. She will seek out affection and loves to be near her human. She gets on very well with other dogs, and even cats. She also does very well with children. Maggie is very "cat-like"; she likes to curl up to sleep on the back of the sofa and will stretch up your leg to get a cuddle. She knows some basic commands like Sit, but we are working on coming when called. She is housetrained and will let you know when she needs to go out. She loves the freedom of a doggie door. Maggie needs someone who will love her and let her know how special she is. In return you will have a faithful companion who will reward you with very lady-like puggie kisses.

Maggie_2
Maggie is an adorable fawn female. She is 10 years old. Unfortunately her Mommy passed away and now Maggie needs to find a new home. Maggie is current on her vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. She has some arthritis but no major medical issues.

Maggie is used to being the only dog, but she is currently living in foster care with other dogs and getting on well. She has been paper trained. She does have a grass allergy and will need to be kept indoors but since she's a Pug she shouldn't be left outdoors anyway. She is a very sweet and cuddly girl. As you can see by her photos she has a unique talent - when she gets excited her ears stand up! Otherwise when she's relaxed they flop over just like any other Pug. She is a cutie who would love a chance to find a new home.

Nala
Nala is a 5 year old fawn female. She is an owner surrender through no fault of her own. She has been spayed, microchipped and is current on her vaccinations. She is heartworm negative. She appears to be in good health except for being overweight. We have placed her on a diet in order to get her weight down since that can be extremely dangerous for a pug in this Texas heat.

Nala is a very sweet girl who seems friendly and curious about her new surroundings. She is used to living with another dog and would do well in a multi-dog household.

Patsy
Patsy is a lovely fawn female who is about 14 years old. She is an owner surrender as her owner could no longer care for her. She walks with a limp to her front leg but that does not keep her from getting around wherever she wants. She has been spayed, microchipped and is current on her vaccinations.

Patsy is a very social girl who likes to be with someone at all times. She MUST sleep next to her person at night, so no doggie bed for this lady. She also gets on well with other dogs. She is also very vocal, very talkative. If only we knew what she was saying! Patsy is housebroken and loves the freedom of using a doggie door.

UPDATE: Unfortunately we've had some bad news for Patsy. She has just been diagnosed with mast cell tumors. She is receiving appropriate medications. However, given her age we will not be pursuing aggressive treatment. Patsy is on medical hold and is no longer available for adoption. We would appreciate any donations to help cover the costs of her medical care.

Pearl
Pearl is a sweet fawn female. She is 13 years old and an absolute doll. She is an owner surrender through no fault of her own. She is heartworm negative. She is current on her vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. She is in excellent health but is deaf. She has a mass on her right rear leg that will be removed soon which does not affect her gait at all. While no Pug should be an outside dog, Pearl is especially intolerent of the heat and cannot be outside this time of year for very long.

Pearl is described by her foster as a "little shadow." She loves to be near her human and will follow you around. She loves to snuggle her person in bed at night. She is used to being an only dog and would do well by herself or with a submissive companion.

Phil
Phil is a sweet fawn male. He came to us from a local shelter, so not much is known about him. We estimate he is between 8 to 10 years old. He has been brought current on his vaccinations and microchipped. He will be neutered prior to placement. He appears to be suffering from a skin condition that is now being treated and should be corrected soon. He also seems to be suffering from "dry eye" that is so common in pugs. Due to this he has suffered some vision loss. He is on medicated drops and will need those daily for the rest of his life. Otherwise he is in very good health with no further issues.

Samson
Samson is a 10 year old fawn male. He was an owner surrender due to his medical condition. Poor little Samson has not been looked after very well and is currently suffering from some serious medical issues. Samson has pneumonia and Congestive Heart Failure which have been left untreated thus far. He also has old ulcers on both of his eyes. His left eye seems to be healing without difficulty but his right eyes appears to have recently ruptured. He also has some difficulty standing and walking. We had thought that it might be due to an ear infection, but after consulting with a neurologist we now know that he has some brain stem disease, probably a tumor. Once Samson's pneumonia is cleared we will get an MRI to determine what to do next.

Samson is a sick little puggie. But we are getting him the best medical treatment possible and are hopeful for his recovery. We are greatly encouraged by his spirit. This little guy has not given up and we are committed to helping him through this fight. The love and affection he has shown us tells us that he knows we are helping him and that he appreciates our help. Right now Samson is on medical hold and cannot be considered for adoption. We would appreciate any donations towards his ongoing medical care.

Sara
Sara came to us from animal control after being surrendered by her owner. She is a sweet fawn female, around 11 years old. She is microchipped, spayed and current on her vaccinations.

Unfortunately she is suffering from some medical issues and therefore her prior owner gave up on her. After meeting her you will agree that she is a very sweet, special girl who deserves some TLC and a new owner who isn't afraid to become her hero.

She has severe vision loss and receives daily drops to keep her eyes clean. Despite the vision loss, once she knows her way around the house she does extremely well. She is a bit hard of hearing. She is also suffering from a lung condition for which she receives Lasix.

She is housebroken and very affectionate. She is a very sweet girl who would do well in a home where someone is around a lot to give her cuddles and TLC.

Victor
Victor is a cute 2 year old fawn male. He came to us from a local animal control shelter. We don't anything about his history other than he was found wandering the streets without any tags or microchip. He has been brought current on medications and microchipped. He has been neutered.

Victor came to us as a sick little guy with a bad case of hookworms and heartworm positive. We are thrilled to report that he is now a healthy, happy guy. His hookworms were cleared immediately and he has now completed his heartworm treatment and is heartworm negative! That means he is now ready for a new home and new life. His foster family reports he is a very laid back guy who gets along with everyone.

Wally
Wally is a gorgeous fawn male. He came to us from a local shelter so not much is known about him. We estimate he is about 2 years old. He has been brought current on his vaccinations and microchipped. He will be neutered prior to placement. He appears to be in very good health.

Don't be fooled by his picture - he is NOT sad, in fact he is a very happy little guy. He must just be camera shy. In fact, his foster describes him as a bundle of energy! He is friendly and gets on well with other dogs. It doesn't seem that he has had too great of a life so far as he is a bit timid when he first meets people. He is learning to trust and when he decides you're okay then he becomes your little shadow. He is not demanding but does seem happy to have attention. He hasn't figured out toys yet which probably means he's never had any of his own before. He's a sweet boy with a great attitude who will make someone a devoted pet.

Whitney
Whitney is a 5 year old fawn female recent rescued from a puppy mill. As poor Whitney has been kept in a cage her entire life, she is very scared when removed from a crate or kennel. As is common with puppy mill dogs, her first reaction is to flatten herself to the ground from fear - as though she is afraid she will be punished for being free. Thankfully, she is adjusting to being free and has learned to trust her foster Mom. She appears happy and relaxed when in her care.

This poor girl has not had an easy life and her body bears the proof. She had an old injury to her right eye which necessitated the removal of it before it ruptured. On her left rear leg she had what we had thought was an abscess. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a massive tumor. She has been diagnosed with advanced stage Cancer which has spread to her lymph nodes and bones. She is on conservative steroid therapy. Whitney is now in Hospice care with her foster Mom. We would gratefully accept any donations to help cover her medical expenses and make her final days as comfortable and pleasant as possible.

Wrinkles
Wrinkles is a lovely fawn male. He is 8 years old. He was an owner surrender through no fault of his own. He has been brought current on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. He is heartworm negative and has been started on preventative. He is in excellent health except for having a "dry" eye. He gets daily ointment for that but otherwise is on no medications.

Wrinkles is one very friendly, happy guy. He acts more like a 3-4 year old and has lots of energy. He loves to play and meet people. He gets on very well with other animals and would do well in a home with other dogs.
